Kingsland Municipal Utility District (KMUD)

_KMUD was created on 12/27/72 under Article XVI Section 59 of the Texas Constitution and currently provides sewer collection & treatment, septic system materials treatment, and additional services (see below).

KMUD Services

BRUSH DUMPING
Only available to KMUD residential customers.  A KMUD bill must be presented for access to the facility.  You must go to the KMUD office before going out to the dumping site. 
HOURS OF OPERATION:  MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY (excluding Holidays) 8 AM to 12 NOON.
FEES:  $2.50/cubic yard to 50 cubic yards for a 12 month period.  $5.00/cubic yard over 50 cubic yards for a 12 month period.
NOTE:  If you need mulch or compost, they are available.  Mulch is free & compost (dillo dirt) is $10/bobcat bucket (1/2 cubic yard).

OIL
Oil without water, antifreeze, cooking oil, gasoline, diesel and hydraulic fluid may be dropped off free of charge.  Filters are $.50 each & Oil WITH water is $1.50/gallon.
HOURS OF OPERATION:  TUESDAY - FRIDAY 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

RV SEWAGE DUMPING
$5.00/200 gallon maximum dump.  This includes 100 gallons of potable water.
HOURS OF OPERATION:  MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. (excluding holidays)

TIRE DISPOSAL (WITHOUT RIMS)
13" & under (motorcycle, bicycle, golf cart, lawn mower, ATV, etc) - $1.75 per tire.
14' - 24" is $2.50 per tire.  TIRES LARGER THAN 24" ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
